To provide technical support regarding process control, troubleshooting, process improvements, training and documentation.
The process technician must become proficient in programming the equipment utilized in the processes to which he/she is assigned.
It is the process technicians responsibility to understand, be able to troubleshoot, and perform basic repairs to the machines utilized in the processes to which he/she is assigned.
Perform technical tests and experiments for process engineering within R&D. Performs set up of processing equipment. Monitor, audit, and provide guidance to line operators. Process test runs and prepare records, charts, and graphs of results for presentation to engineering to identify yield problems or test new products. Provide technical assistance to process development and engineering personnel.
