Job summary

Altium Packaging in Hebron, Kentucky, is seeking a Process Technician to maintain and repair production equipment across pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems. You will perform mold changes, tooling changes, and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime, while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires strong mechanical/electrical skills, good problem-solving abilities, and solid English.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong mechanical and electrical skills.

• Commitment to safe work practices.
• Solid English language and reading skills.
• Preferred: Basic computer and email skills; familiarity with Word and Excel.

• Preferred: OSHA forklift certification.
• Preferred: Experience in food industry; mechanical experience on small engines, cars, or farm equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance and repairs to production equipment including pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Install, adjust, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on production equipment.
• Perform mold, neck tooling changes, pin, and other equipment changes.
• Inspect and replace pneumatic and hydraulic hoses.
• Inspect, rebuild, and replace valves and pumps.
• Maintain machines in optimal processing condition.
• Weld, fabricate, and repair various machines.
• Troubleshoot, locate root problems, and perform repairs.
• Operate production machines as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
• Overtime may be required due to business needs.
