About the Opportunity

We’re partnering with a privately held packaging manufacturer investing in growth, stronger processes, and long-term operational success across three manufacturing sites.

This is a newly created role focused on building and standardizing project management across the business. The position will support new product development, facility improvements, equipment installation, and continuous improvement initiatives. It’s an excellent fit for someone who brings structure, accountability, and strong cross‑functional leadership in a manufacturing environment.

What You’ll Do
  • Define project scope, goals, timelines, deliverables, and success measures.
  • Build and manage project plans, including resources and budgets.
  • Track project health through dashboards, meetings, action registers, and KPIs.
  • Lead cross‑functional teams made up of engineers, department leaders, and stakeholders.
  • Oversee equipment installations, upgrades, and relocations.
  • Support qualification activities for products and equipment through standardized processes.
  • Partner with operations on production ramp‑up efforts.
  • Help develop a Stage Gate process for New Product Development.
  • Create and standardize project management processes across the organization.
Who You Are

You’re organized, proactive, and comfortable bringing structure to an environment that is still evolving. You communicate well across functions, keep projects moving, and know how to align people around priorities. You take pride in doing things the right way and want to help build a stronger operating foundation.

Preferred Experience & Attributes
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a similar technical field.
  • 5–7 years of project management experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong project planning skills, including MS Project and MS Office.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Self‑motivated and able to work independently.
  • Able to influence stakeholders and drive alignment.
  • Power BI and statistical analysis experience are a plus.
  • Injection molding, paper converting, or printing experience is beneficial.
  • PMP certification is a plus, but not required.
Why This Role Matters

This role will help build the structure, tools, and discipline needed to improve project execution across the company. It offers strong visibility, meaningful impact, and the chance to shape how projects are managed as the business continues to grow.

Reporting Structure
  • Sits within the engineering organization.
  • Works closely with engineers, department leaders, and cross‑functional stakeholders.
