In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in assembling airline seats partially or completely, by working at bench or on shop floor.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  1. With the aid of “A” operator or “Senior” operator perform the following duties
  2. Must be able to load and unload baskets in a safe and time efficient manner
  3. Must be able to run tanks and have knowledge of the proper time sequence for each tank
  4. Must be able to read blueprints and know how to use computer
  5. Must be able to verify WPS's and QPM's
  6. Must be able to perform other duties as required

Employee is expected to follow all safety regulations, keep work area in a clean and orderly condition, and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required for the assigned work area(s). Performs safety related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • One to three years of related experience required – equivalent education and background may be substituted for experience in some areas.
  • Requires a thorough understanding of shop practices and procedures.
  • Must be able to read and interpret average to complex blueprints, drawings, diagrams, tolerance information, route sheets, work orders, safety guidelines, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
  • Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals and apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
  • Employee must be able to obtain and maintain all required certifications and licenses.
