A regional engineering firm is looking for a Process Computer Engineer in Kentucky. This role involves providing professional systems engineering services to improve level 2 equipment and systems. Ideal candidates should have a Bachelor’s or Technical degree with expertise in C, C++, and C#. The job also requires familiarity with COM, .NET, and strong object-oriented programming skills. Experience in an industrial setting is preferred, along with capabilities in SQL Server and Oracle databases.
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Technical Degree preferred.
Experience in C# preferred; C and C++ acceptable.
Familiarity with COM and .NET Framework.
Strong knowledge of Object Oriented Programming concepts.
Familiarity with Client/Server application development.
Experience with SQL Server and Oracle Databases.
Experience in an industrial setting preferred.
Responsibilities
Analyze and define level 2 equipment problems to improve productivity.
Re-design level 2 systems that need upgrading.
Investigate and analyze level 2 systems problems.
Monitor process systems data collection and ensure data integrity.
Remain aware of the latest process systems technologies.
Maintain adequate spare parts for critical process systems.
Write, modify, test and document application programs.
Work with other Level 2 Engineers on Operations and Maintenance activities.
Manage difficult customer situations and ensure client satisfaction.
Contribute to teamwork and support group efforts.
