Job summary

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of schematic drawings, P&IDs or similar renderings.
• Basic background in process safety engineering calculations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
• Access to reliable transportation.
• Currently enrolled as a student and not graduated before September 2026.

Responsibilities

• Participate in PSM projects and program initiatives.
• Attend Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) sessions for selected systems.
• Support collection and organization of Process Safety Information (PSI).
• Engage with process safety engineers to track and close PHA action items.
• Assist engineering teams with process safety audits and safety calculations for new equipment.
• Present a summary of internship work to senior staff.
• Leverage AI tools to improve productivity while ensuring outputs are validated.
