Dates of Employment for 2027:
Full time: 40 hours per week
Location: Chicago, IL
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist Project Managers and apply standard engineering/ scientific techniques using procedures and criteria assigned by technical staff. Perform routine engineering calculations, assist at test range facility, conduct research, prepare presentations and report material and CAD drawings. Gain experience in Loss Prevention Engineering, Quantitative Risk Analysis (QRA), Qualitative Process Hazards Analysis, Reliability Engineering, Risk Management, Consequence Analysis, and Frequency Analysis.
Requirements:
Pursuing a bachelor's degree with a minimal 3.0 GPA in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline. Junior or Senior level student. Proficiency in MS office suite. Ability to learn engineering software as needed to perform specific tasks as assigned by engineers. Excellent oral and written communication skills required to interact with internal and external contacts. Ability to establish priorities for completion of assigned workload, which may change from day to day
