Job summary

Bass Pro Shops is seeking a Process Quality Assurance professional for the Clinton, MO White River Marine Plant. The role focuses on addressing supplier quality issues through the SCAR process to recoup costs and ensure part quality.

Responsibilities include processing returns for credit, evaluating damaged freight and returned parts, procuring replacement items, and coordinating with suppliers and internal teams to resolve quality concerns. This is a full-time on-site position in Clinton, MO.

Qualifications

• Requires basic computer knowledge and comfortable using basic software/tools.
• Strong phone communication skills are required.
• Ability to use hand tools as part of repair and handling.
• Ability to read engineering or supplier specification sheets.

Responsibilities

• Implements the SCAR process when necessary and drives supplier corrective actions.
• Processes all return parts to suppliers for credit.
• Assesses and addresses damaged incoming freight daily.
• Evaluates returned parts and assesses condition before restocking.
• Procures parts for repairs to damaged goods.
• Communicates with suppliers, plant and corporate when quality issues arise and resolves them.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
