Job summary

Hikma Pharmaceuticals USA Inc. in Cherry Hill, NJ is seeking a Process Operator I for the 3rd shift. The role involves setting up, maintaining, and operating equipment such as glass washers, depyrogenation tunnels, and bag openers, while complying with cGMPs and SOPs.

You will monitor parameters, prepare equipment for each lot, and ensure high-quality output. No supervisory duties, but training other staff is required and overtime may be necessary.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, fractions or decimals.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions and solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Prepares equipment at start of lot.
• Verifies incoming components for accuracy using order number.
• Set up and operates equipment throughout shift.
• Monitors machine parameters (speed, pressure, temperature, belt speed) and records per SOPs/cGMPs.
• Completes batch record and logbook paperwork.
• Trains others on equipment as required.
• Maintains housekeeping of equipment and area.
• Works overtime as needed.
