Job summary

U.S. Silica in Sparta, WI is seeking a Process Operator to monitor multiple production units, supervise control systems, and troubleshoot basic process issues under limited supervision.

You will operate plant control boards and equipment such as screens, conveyors, pumps, hydrosizers, dryers, and elevators, and perform TPM tasks as required. The role requires safety-focused candidates who can work outdoors in all seasons, climb stairs and ladders, and maintain a clean, safe work environment

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Strong commitment to safety and quality.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions throughout all seasons.
• Ability to climb multiple levels using stairs and ladders and work from elevated platforms.
• Ability to safely use hand tools, including shovels, hammers, wrenches, and similar equipment.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) knowledge.
• Forklift experience.
• Computer software experience.
• Warehouse experience - Preferred

• Perform general cleanup and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Perform Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) tasks as required by management.
• Perform additional duties as assigned
