Job summary

PSC Group is hiring a Process Operator in Conroe, TX, to operate chemical production units and related equipment, ensuring safe, efficient plant operations. You’ll support maintenance, quality checks and daily team meetings in a fast-paced environment.

Successful candidates will be 18+ with a valid driver’s license or TWIC as needed, able to pass screenings, and comfortable working onsite with PPE and procedures. Military experience is a plus and full-time hours apply.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ and legally eligible to work in the U.S.
• May require a valid Driver’s License and/or a valid TWIC card depending on work location
• Pass a drug screen, physical, and background check
• Wear required PPE and pass medical exams
• Regular on-site attendance and punctuality are required
• Previous military experience and following procedures is a plus

Responsibilities

• Operate chemical production units and supporting equipment to manufacture resins and catalysts
• Maintain reliable plant operations by properly operating equipment and completing preventive maintenance
• Maintain logs, batch records, time sheets and inventory records
• Assist with shipments, receiving chemicals or supplies
• Perform routine laboratory tests on process samples
• Assist in writing, reviewing and updating SOPs
• Participate in daily Shift Team meetings to review safety, quality, maintenance and schedule
• May be assigned additional duties to support site needs and growth

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Operate chemical production units and supporting equipment to manufacture resins and catalysts
• Maintain reliable plant operations by properly operating all plant equipment and completing Preventative Maintenance work orders and safety equipment inspections
• Maintain accurate production unit logs, production batch work orders, time sheets, and inventory records
• Assist with the preparation of shipments and receiving chemicals or supplies
• Perform routine laboratory tests on process samples as needed
• Assist in the review, creation, and updating of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Participate in daily Shift Team meetings to review any EHS items, Quality, maintenance activities, and the production schedule
• May be assigned additional duties to support overall site needs and business growth plans

Job Qualifications:

• May require a valid Driver’s License and / or a valid TWIC card, depending on work location
• 18 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S.
• Pass a drug screen, physical, and background check
• Wear all required PPE without restriction and pass any required medical exams
• Speak, write, read fluent English
• Regular on-site attendance and punctuality is required
• Previous military experience and proven ability to follow procedures is a plus

Work Schedule:

Day and Night Shift (Rotates every 2 weeks)
