Bosch is seeking an experienced production line operator for our Norman, Oklahoma assembly line. This role supports daily operations, assists the supervisor with planning, and ensures safety and quality standards on the line.

Responsibilities include interpreting schedules, coordinating with other departments for material supply, and reporting daily line performance. The ideal candidate has prior line experience and a strong quality mindset.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with decimals, fractions and scales for precise measurements.

Job Description

This position is responsible for supporting daily operations on a specific assembly line. This

includes assisting supervisor with planning, assigning and directing work assignments, while

achieving quality and safety standards.

Principal Duties

• 1. Ability to interpret Master Production Schedule, JIT reports, Kanban containers, etc., to determine area requirements.
• 2. Be familiar with department performance goals and measurements and strive to meet or exceed goals.
• 3. Familiarity with basic technical aspects of all jobs within the department.
• 4. Must be able to meet requirements of all skilled positions.
• 5. Monitor production standards and quality control measures.
• 6. Work with supervisor to prioritize staffing assignments based on current Training Matrix.
• 7. Coordinate with other departments to ensure part supply and availability.
• 8. Ensure efficient and effective line handoff.
• 9. Promote 5S culture.
• 10. Lead by example.
• 11. Provide daily summary to supervisor.
• 12. Prepared to assess areas of high performance and low performance on the line, detailing key drivers of performance across all resource categories.
• 13. Work with supervisor to provide value during Weekly Toolbox Talk meetings.
