Job summary

Philip Morris International is seeking a Process Lead for our Aurora, CO manufacturing plant. You will drive continuous improvement across processes, manage training needs, and coordinate changes with regional teams to raise efficiency and quality. Strong Lean/Six Sigma background and SAP/MS Office experience are required, with 3+ years in manufacturing and English fluency.

This role is based in the U.S. at our Aurora facility.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred.
  • Experience in continuous improvement roles with Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Six Sigma, or similar.
  • Experience managing continuous improvement tools (root cause analysis, Pareto, fishbone, 8D, etc).
  • 3+ years of manufacturing or related experience.
  • Solid knowledge of statistics.
  • Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel) and SAP.
  • Manufacturing process knowledge, Production Planning, resources planning, and demand forecasting.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to efficiency and sustainability of production processes and help achieve department performance targets.
  • Run continuous improvement processes, collect ideas, and prioritize improvements with process system owners.
  • Identify E&T capability-building needs and coordinate training.
  • Statistically analyze processes and losses to detect improvement opportunities.
  • Design and implement improvement plans based on findings.
  • Coordinate and execute tests of new technologies and materials and decide on actions.
  • Be the point of contact with region/global to share improvement practices.
  • Manage change through process specifications design, adequacy, and maintenance.
  • Design, adapt, and structure processes for customer satisfaction in PMI standards.
  • Maintain management systems and comply with audits.

We are looking for a Process Lead to join our new Manufacturing Plant in Aurora, Colorado!
Your Day To Day
  • Contribute to the efficiency and sustainability of the overall production processes and activities and support reporting the continuous achievement of department performance targets.
  • Run continuous improvement process, collect ideas, and prioritize process and system enhancements. Coordinate ideas' evaluation and implementation with the process system owners in the central, regional, local & service provider' functions.
  • Identify Education and training (E&T) capability-building needs for today and the future and eliminate capability gaps by coordinating the provision of the required training.
  • Statistically analyze processes and losses, detecting opportunities for improvement.
  • Design and implement improvement plans based on what is detected.
  • Coordinate and execute tests of new technologies and materials, determining the course of action based on the results.
  • Be the point of contact with the region/global to incorporate and share improvement practices.
  • Manage change through the design, adequacy, and maintenance of process specifications.
  • Design, adapt, and structure processes for customer satisfaction in compliance with PMI standards.

Who We’re Looking For

Annual Base Salary Range: $88,000 - $110,000
