Process Improvement Engineer

Responsibilities

As a Process Improvement Engineer at MORryde, you will assess areas for improvement, devise a plan, and execute it to enhance our manufacturing process quality standards. Success will come from taking initiative, being passionate in your stance, and rallying a team to ensure implemented practices endure.

Key duties include:

• Creating quality documents for our Quality Management System (QMS)
• Overseeing inspection of new part releases from start to finish
• Verifying quality processes and leading remedial training when needed
• Conducting incident and nonconformance reviews, root cause analysis, and championing corrective actions
• Collaborating closely with Plant Managers, Engineering, Shop Floor Operations, and the Quality Department
• Supporting a team‑based approach to continuous improvement

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or manufacturing engineering is preferred
• Strong knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies
• Analytical skillset
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Outstanding interpersonal skills; ability to work with cross‑functional teams
• Basic use of measurement equipment
• Ability to interpret and read manufacturing prints
