Becton Dickinson is seeking a Process & Equipment Engineer specializing in sterilization to design, maintain, and improve our sterilization processes. This onsite role includes 24/7 on-call responsibilities with remote troubleshooting and coordination as needed.
The ideal candidate will have a chemical, mechanical or industrial engineering background with 2+ years in engineering and equipment, plus experience in a PSM-regulated environment and CAD proficiency. On-site collaboration is emphasized.
The Process & Equipment Engineer has the responsibility and authority for designing, maintaining and improving all regional sterilization processes. The Process Engineer will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and improving the process operations, process data gathering, and maintenance document control processes as needed.
The Process & Equipment Engineer will identify and implement process related improvement activities with the intent to reduce and minimize non conformances and events. The Process Engineer will be responsible for monitoring, all equipment uptime, KPI, OEE goals, cost improvement and lean activities.
As a Process & Equipment Engineer specializing in sterilization, you'll play a crucial role in designing, maintaining and improving our sterilization processes while driving efficiency and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards. This is an onsite position with future on-call responsibilities.
This role may involve exposure to various manufacturing environments including hot and humid locations, moving mechanical parts, high places, and areas with potential electrical, chemical, or noise hazards. Appropriate safety training and equipment will be provided.
The position requires regular use of hands for handling equipment, occasional standing, reaching with hands and arms, and the ability to lift up to ten pounds. Close vision is necessary for detailed work.

The expected compensation range for this role is $ 95,900.00 - $153,400.00 USD Annual. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, and geographic location.
