Job summary

Noveon Magnetics is seeking a Process Engineering Manager to lead a multi-disciplinary team responsible for process design, optimization, and technology integration across precision grinding, wire EDM, coating, and automated inspection. You will partner with quality and product teams to reduce costs while improving throughput and yield.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, industrial, materials science or related engineering field; Master’s preferred.
• 8+ years in precision manufacturing with at least 3 years in engineering leadership or supervisory role.
• Hands-on familiarity with tight-tolerance machining (wire EDM, CNC/centerless grinding); surface finishing and coating processes; automated inspection systems (Vision, CMM, inline sensors).
• Six Sigma Black Belt or Lean Certification preferred.
• Must be able to move up to 50 lbs and wear PPE; able to stand long periods.

Responsibilities

• Process Design & Optimization: Direct and optimize production across grinding, wire EDM, deburring, coating, and inspection.
• Automation & Quality Integration: Scale automated vision, inline metrology, and robotic handling; align SPC with QA.
• Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a high-performing team of engineers and technicians.
• Lean Culture: Drive Lean, Six Sigma and Kaizen across core process cells.
• CapEx Execution: Lead CapEx projects from justification to IQ/OQ/PQ.
