We're hiring Process Engineering Interns for the summer term. The internship begins in May or June, with a preferred commitment of 4 to 8 months. We’re rebuilding the chip fabrication process from the ground-up, so you’ll be exposed to some really interesting and impactful work. This is a hands-on process engineering role-you’ll be responsible for experiment design and execution of new semiconductor and thin-film fabrication methods. We're looking for someone with both a strong understanding of traditional semiconductor processing methods and an open-mindedness to new techniques.
We’re an early-stage hardware startup with solid funding, world-class advisors, and labs/offices in Austin, TX, Lockhart, TX, and San Francisco, CA. fab2 is committed to fair and equitable compensation. Process Interns are paid hourly, at a rate equivalent to on an annualized range of $108,000-$126,000 depending on experience and education. Actual earnings vary with hours worked.
