Job summary

Henkel’s Adhesive Technologies internship offers hands-on process engineering exposure in a batch chemical manufacturing setting. You will collaborate with production, engineering, and operations teams to boost efficiency, quality, and plant performance while developing strong data analysis and reporting skills.

Ideal candidates are chemical engineering undergraduates graduating in 2027/2028, proficient in Excel/PowerPoint, with SAP experience considered a plus.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate student graduating in 2027 or 2028 pursuing a degree in Chemical Engineering.
• Strong data analysis skills with the ability to interpret and visualize complex datasets.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• SAP experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Gain hands‑on experience supporting process engineering activities within a batch chemical manufacturing environment.
• Partner with production, engineering, and operations teams to improve process efficiency, product quality, and plant performance.
• Analyze manufacturing data to identify opportunities to reduce waste, improve yield, minimize downtime, and increase throughput.
• Assist with troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and the implementation of corrective actions for process‑related challenges.
• Support the planning and execution of continuous improvement and capital projects while maintaining compliance with Henkel safety, environmental, and quality standards.
