Process Engineering Consultant – Tata Consultancy Services

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking a Process Engineering Consultant to drive continuous improvement initiatives for banking operations.

Compensation

• Base pay: $80,000 – $87,000 per year

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct process assessments to identify inefficiencies, costs, and cycle time reductions.
• Develop and implement process improvement strategies using Lean, Six Sigma, and BPM methodologies.
• Analyze data and process activities using Power BI, Power Query, and VBA to support business optimization.
• Collaborate with technical teams (Mainframe, .NET, backend) to understand systems, identify process gaps, and design improvement solutions.
• Lead projects, manage project lifecycles, and guide teams through Lean and Six Sigma initiatives.
• Work with business and technology partners to gather feedback, define requirements, and implement improvements.
• Transform client journeys (e.g., complaint handling) through human‑centered design principles.
• Create detailed process maps, validate solution designs, and test results with business partners.
• Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
• Communicate effectively, understand and discuss development requirements, and resolve operational or process problems.

Required Qualifications

• Green, Yellow, or Black Six Sigma Certification (must demonstrate implemented process).
• Experience with approach, tools, and techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational, or process problems.
