Precise Engineering is seeking an experienced Process Engineering Advisor IV to champion process safety excellence at the Golden Pass LNG Terminal in Sabine Pass, TX. This senior-level contractor role focuses on leading risk assessments, HAZOPs, and embedding a robust safety culture through technical expertise, training development, and field leadership.
As a Senior Process Safety and Risk Advisor, you will serve as the technical leader for process safety initiatives across LNG operations. This role emphasizes hands-on risk assessment facilitation, consequence modeling, structured safety studies, and leadership coaching—without direct responsibility for OSHA PSM program administration.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Process Safety Engineering, or equivalent technical discipline
Experience: 10+ years of relevant industry experience in process safety, risk assessment, or petrochemical operations
Technical Expertise: Proven track record leading and facilitating risk assessments using HAZOP, scenario-based risk assessment, bow-tie analysis, or similar methodologies
Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of petrochemical industry operations and regulatory compliance requirements
Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to train, coach, and influence across all organizational levels
Competency in consequence modeling software (Phast, ALOHA, or similar tools)
LNG terminal or liquefaction facility experience
Professional certifications in process safety (CCPS, CFPS, or equivalent)
Experience developing process safety training curricula
