Job summary

Quanta Manufacturing Fremont is seeking a Process Engineer to develop and maintain efficient, scalable, and cost-effective manufacturing processes that meet customer and headquarters standards. You will own process development, validation, and improvement activities and guide entry-level engineers through coaching and knowledge sharing.

You will lead documentation, pilot runs, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure readiness, quality, and on-time issue resolution across PM, RD, Production,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or related discipline.
• 3–5 years of relevant process or manufacturing engineering experience.
• Proficiency in analyzing process data and applying SPC, root cause analysis, and Lean methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain CRDs covering hardware, firmware, labels, and tools.
• Define assembly sequences, layouts, and cycle time estimates with minimal supervision.
• Lead validation of incoming tools, devices, and equipment for production.
• Plan and oversee pilot production runs, including data collection and training.
• Conduct audits of assembly processes to ensure SOPs, safety, and specs.
