Qualifications

• Proven experience reading and interpreting blueprints and GD&T.
• Strong understanding of heat treat and plating processes.
• Experience in specialized metal fabrication processes.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and shop floor personnel.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical manufacturing issues.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Process jobs according to customer blueprints and technical specifications.
• Create routings and travellers to define the order of operations for manufacturing parts.
• Correspond with customers regarding technical data and clarify requirements as needed.
• Read and interpret blueprints, including GD&T.
• Understand and apply knowledge of heat treat processes and plating.
• Utilize experience in specialized metal fabrication to optimize manufacturing processes (experience with gearing is a plus but not required).
• Lay out the sequence of operations required to manufacture parts efficiently and accurately.
• Communicate effectively with shop operators and machinists to provide clarification and assistance.
• Troubleshoot technical issues that arise during the manufacturing process and implement corrective actions.
