Job summary

Responsibilities include troubleshooting to improve safety, quality, and efficiency; optimizing processes through capital projects and design of experiments; collaborating with cross-functional teams on new products; and supporting technical issue resolution and specialized products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; equivalent work experience considered.
• 2+ years of process engineering experience.
• Familiarity with Minitab and Microsoft Office.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with ISO/IATF Quality Systems.
• Familiarity with Process Safety Management and working in an electrically classified area.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot daily process issues to improve safety, quality, yield and manufacturing effectiveness.
• Assist with optimization of manufacturing processes to provide sustainable gains in cost effectiveness and product performance through capital projects, statistical analysis, designed experiments and procedural changes.
• Assist with resolution of customer technical/quality issues and support on special products.
• Participate in cross-functional teams to resolve problems, develop, and start up new products.
• Must be able for after-hours on-call responsibilities and be able to obtain respirator certification.
• Other duties as assigned.
