Base Power Company is seeking a Deployment Engineer to architect rapid hardware deployments across Texas. You will ensure positive customer experiences and maximize uptime of battery systems, collaborating with engineering and operations to translate needs into data-driven tools.
You will build dashboards and data models, automate workflows, and set up data collection to track deployment performance. The role combines hardware deployment with data analytics in a fast-paced startup environment.
Base is America’s next-generation power company. We’re rebuilding the foundation of modern civilization–electricity–by deploying a vast network of distributed batteries that is transforming today’s fragile, centralized grid into a resilient and abundant system. We are engineers, operators, and creatives solving some of the most complex, interdisciplinary challenges of our time.

Base is looking for a Deployment Engineer to architect the process for rapid deployments of hardware throughout the state of Texas. This pivotal role is focused on ensuring a positive customer experience and increased uptime of battery systems.
The Deployments team is responsible for getting Base’s battery systems from our facilities into customers’ homes safely, efficiently, and at scale. The team sits at the intersection of hardware, software, data, and field operations, building the systems and processes that power deployment from start to finish.
Deployment Engineers tackle the technical and operational challenges that come with scaling a rapidly growing physical operation. You’ll work closely with field teams and engineers to understand what’s happening on the ground, use data to identify bottlenecks and opportunities, and build the tools and processes that make deployments faster, more reliable, and easier to operate.
This is a highly cross-functional and hands-on team. You’ll have significant ownership over how we operate today while helping architect the systems we’ll need as Base expands into new markets and deploys batteries at increasingly greater scale.
Please note: Base is a startup, which means priorities shift and evolve quickly. Your role may expand or change based on the needs of the business at any given time, so the responsibilities listed may not be exhaustive.
Do the best work of your life at Base.
