National Machinery LLC is seeking a skilled engineer to join their Process Engineering team in Tiffin, Ohio. This in-person position involves determining manufacturing processes, ensuring quality and efficiency, and communicating operational work instructions.
The ideal candidate holds an Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in mechanical or manufacturing engineering, with solid knowledge of machining and fabrication processes. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with Solidworks and Mastercam are preferred.

In this position, you will be a part of the Process Engineering team to determine the path for our engineered components and assemblies to be manufactured and/or procured with a focus on quality, our capability, efficiency, delivery and cost. You will determine the operations, activities, fixturing, tools and equipment required for fabrication, assembly, machining or outsourcing of components and assemblies from parts drawings, specifications and other engineering materials. Planning the sequence of operations, forecasting of standard time requirements, creating routings, and preparing operational work instructions.
Process Engineering also reviews internal manufacturing cost to assure our targets align with our products and manufacturing techniques. You will also work closely with the inspection department to assure purchased parts meet quality and print specifications. When deviations are identified you will communicate with vendors and work with engineering to determine disposition.
