Role Purpose

As a Process Engineer at Fibergrate, you'll apply engineering principles in a hands-on manufacturing environment and build practical experience in process improvement, equipment reliability, and project execution. Working closely with the Process & Infrastructure Engineering Manager, maintenance, and production teams, this role supports facility systems, manufacturing equipment, and technical specifications.


The engineer will help solve production challenges, improve processes, and implement solutions that support safety, environmental compliance, product quality, cost control, and on-time delivery. This position is well-suited for a motivated early-career engineer who enjoys learning, collaborating across departments, and seeing measurable results of their work on the plant floor.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities


  • Support daily activities to ensure production and operations meet on-time delivery requirements.

  • Develop, configure, and optimize industrial processes from inception through start-up.

  • Actively participate in cost reduction and continuous improvement efforts

  • Prepare, schedule, coordinate, and monitor assigned projects.

  • Manage project timelines and report status.

  • Provide process documentation and operating instructions.

  • Respond to sales requests for lead times and cost.

  • Aid production and maintenance departments.

  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written and oral instructions.

  • Ability to deal with problems involving few concrete variables in standard situations.

  • Ability to use basic math skills such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in all units of measure using whole numbers.

  • Able to understand and carry out oral and written instructions.

  • Able to communicate effectively with managers and co-workers.

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as schematics, machine drawings, operating manuals/procedures, and maintenance instructions.

  • Ability to prepare written technical reports and/or correspondence.

  • Must maintain complex files and records.
