Qualifications

  • Requires BS in chemical, materials, mechanical or related engineering.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong cross-functional teamwork and project management.
  • Technical competency in polymer materials, processing, testing.
  • Understanding of statistics and process capability.
  • Experience in manufacturing with knowledge of machine components.
  • Ability to learn ERP and QMS systems.
  • Lean, Six Sigma, and modern manufacturing methods knowledge.
  • Ability to lift 10-50 lbs., stand long hours, travel as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Devise and execute plans to qualify new products and materials.
  • Support capital equipment projects as onsite process expert.
  • Improve production efficiency by analyzing process control trends.
  • Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement tools.
  • Collect and analyze data; present recommendations in reports.
  • Coordinate with planning and design teams to meet deadlines.
  • Maintain technical documents, specifications, and data sheets.
  • Establish and review product standards for materials, labor, equipment.
  • Maintain understanding of ISO quality systems related to process development.
  • Write proposals for capital expenditures and obtain approvals.

Process Engineer

Compensation
  • Commensurate with experience, the range is $75,000 - 85,000 annually.
Work Schedule
  • Onsite: 8 AM - 5 PM | Monday - Friday

What You'll Do

What You Bring
  • Bachelor of Science in Chemical, Materials, Mechanical, or related engineering field
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
