Job summary

Cindavi is seeking a Process Engineer to own and optimize complex isotope production systems from design through installation. Join a matrixed engineering team and lead critical projects, driving from initial concept to site acceptance.

You will manage off-gas processing, uranium handling, and waste processing, mentor engineers, and collaborate with vendors and construction teams to ensure compliant, high-performance systems in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• At least 8 years of relevant project experience in an engineering setting.
• Proven experience designing processes to achieve a desired output product from a set of input ingredients.

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of critical process systems, including off-gas processing, uranium handling, and waste processing.
• Prepare and issue comprehensive design packages, specifications, test plans, and calculations to ensure optimal system performance.
• Collaborate closely with equipment vendors to oversee procurement, FATs, and SATs.
• Coordinate seamlessly with our Construction team to resolve field inquiries, perform site walk-downs, and inspect installed equipment.
• Provide mentorship and support to fellow engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and effective system turnover.
