Job summary

Doncasters in Groton, CT seeks a detail-oriented Process Engineer to optimize wax manufacturing processes, ensure product quality, and drive continuous improvement in a high-performance production environment.

The role involves partnering with Engineering, Operations, Quality and suppliers to implement best practices, resolve process issues, and support operational excellence across the Wax Department. A strong background in materials/manufacturing and Six Sigma is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Six Sigma Green Belt and/or Black Belt certification preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing environment with process improvement is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead wax manufacturing process optimization (injection, pattern assembly, pattern NDT, inspection).
• Ensure process compliance and drive continuous improvement using data-driven controls.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Quality and suppliers to implement best practices and support operational excellence.

This role is responsible for ensuring process compliance, driving continuous improvement, enhancing process stability, and supporting product quality through data-driven controls and cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate will partner closely with Engineering, Operations, Quality, and suppliers to implement best practices, resolve process issues, and support operational excellence across the Wax Department.
