Job summary

Mubea is seeking a process engineering supervisor to optimize manufacturing processes in our global automotive supply operations. You will drive improvements in cost, quality, safety, and delivery while collaborating with designers and production staff to implement practical, scalable solutions.

The role requires a B.S. in engineering and 3+ years in engineering, with strong leadership and communication skills. SAP experience is preferred; Lean certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years supervisory experience or 3+ years leading project teams.
• 3+ years in an engineering role.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong leadership, analytical and problem solving capabilities.
• Solid organizational skills and knowledge of core manufacturing practices.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and related software.

Responsibilities

• Identify, analyze and implement improvements in cost, quality, safety and delivery.
• Work with equipment designers and manufacturing officers to develop a cost-effective and working production process.
• Lead and/or input for the specification, design, build and launch of new processes.
• Analyze existing and future production capacity requirements.
• Incorporate needs of production into project and process activities.
• Research and purchase new manufacturing technology.
• Forecast operating costs of department and directs preparation of budget requests.
• Support continuous improvement activities to address safety, quality and productivity for the assigned assembly lines.
• Maintain a working knowledge of new technologies which may improve operations, and develop recommendations accordingly.

Directs and coordinates activities of process engineering department by evaluating existing processes and configuring manufacturing systems to reduce cost, improve sustainability and develop best practices within the production process.

Duties and Responsibilities

Preferred Education and Experience:

• SAP experience
• Experience in automotive manufacturing and /or engineering and sales driven businesses
• Experience working in a Germany based (international) organization
• Black Belt or Lean Manufacturing certification(s)
