Job summary

Vishay is seeking a Process Engineer for our Niagara Falls, NY site to develop and maintain manufacturing automation software and hardware systems that support production and engineering processes.

You will collaborate across teams to deploy data acquisition, process monitoring, and equipment interfacing solutions, ensuring quality and compliance. The role requires a BS in engineering and 2–4 years in manufacturing, with strong analytical and project management skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
  • 2-4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated experience with current generation programming languages used for manufacturing test and process optimization.
  • High level of mechanical, electrical, and electronic aptitude.
  • Microsoft Office experience required.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain operational technology systems, manufacturing software applications, and automated test systems to ensure reliable operation of production and engineering processes.
  • Perform development, integration, testing, and deployment of software solutions for data acquisition, manufacturing process monitoring, equipment interfacing, and production support applications.
  • Perform calibration coordination, data review, record maintenance, and documentation activities to support compliance, product quality, and measurement system integrity.
  • Create, revise, and maintain engineering procedures, work instructions, test methods, specifications, and other controlled documentation.
  • Support test equipment troubleshooting, system validation, hardware integration, and routine maintenance of servers, PCs, networked devices, and laboratory equipment.
  • Assist with implementation of process improvements using data analysis, statistical methods, and continuous improvement techniques.
  • Support project execution through documentation, progress tracking, testing activities, and coordination with production, quality, and engineering personnel.

What you will be doing:

Pay Range:

$75,000-$85,000 annually
