Amgen seeks a Process Development Senior Associate to advance cell culture and purification processes for our late-stage pipeline. You will help improve production yields, evaluate process robustness, and transfer processes to manufacturing.
You will execute mammalian cell culture experiments at shake-flask and bioreactor scales, perform purification trials, document data in lab notebooks, and present results to the team. You may also contribute to regulatory filings.

Let's do this. Let's change the world. In this vital role you will be responsible for developing cell culture and purification manufacturing processes for Amgen's late-stage pipeline. Scope of work includes developing cell culture and purification processes for recombinant proteins to improve the production yields, evaluating process robustness through process characterization, transferring processes to manufacturing, and conducting other relevant experiments such as facility fit and raw material evaluation.
The candidate will have opportunities to work in cell culture development and purification development to become a well-rounded process development scientist with experience in upstream and downstream.

The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
