Job summary

Pfizer is seeking a skilled scientist to conduct laboratory and pilot-scale process characterization and optimization for vaccines and biologics. You will develop processes, manage short-term plans, and apply technical knowledge to drive project success across teams.

Role requires knowledge of cGMP, statistical methods, and experience with lab data acquisition tools. Strong communication and mentoring abilities are essential.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Chemistry, Chemical/Biochemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or related discipline.
• Technical knowledge of purification of biologics from industry or academia.
• Experience with cGMP and statistical methods is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Characterize and optimize lab and pilot-scale processes.
• Develop manufacturing processes for vaccines and biologics.
• Plan and manage short-term work plans and timelines.
• Apply technical knowledge proactively in projects and teams.
• Lead troubleshooting and tech transfer activities between sites.
