Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Process Development Scientist – Commercial Support to join the parenteral manufacturing team. You will contribute to process monitoring, improvements, tech transfers, and data-driven solutions to ensure reliable manufacturing and delivery of life-changing therapies.

The role requires advanced degrees with relevant experience in biotech manufacturing, plus strong communication and cross-functional collaboration, and a willingness to work in a fast-paced 24/7 operation.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Life Sciences, Biotech, or related field with strong analytical skills.
• Experience in process development, manufacturing support, or quality systems in biopharma.
• Familiarity with regulatory expectations and cGMPs.

Responsibilities

• Support process monitoring, improvement initiatives, and technology transfers for Formulation and aseptic Drug Product manufacturing.
• Assist with deviations investigations, root cause analysis, product impact assessment, and CAPA implementation.
• Author and contribute to technical documents, protocols, reports, and regulatory-support documentation.
• Maintain awareness of literature, technology developments, and internal best practices; communicate observations to project teams.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, and Process Development to support commercial manufacturing.
• Perform data analysis and provide technical conclusions and recommendations to internal teams.
• Ensure all work complies with safety, quality, regulatory, and cGMP expectations.
• Support departmental initiatives such as safety programs, continuous improvement activities, training, and knowledge-sharing forums.
