Job summary

Amgen Inc. in Cambridge, MA seeks a Process Development Postdoctoral Fellow to advance high-concentration biologic drug products through particle engineering and suspension-based formulation and fill/finish approaches.

You will design and execute studies, evaluate product performance via analytical testing, apply solid-state methods, and build data analytics capabilities with JMP, SAS, Tableau/Spotfire, collaborating across time zones in a global science-led environment.

Qualifications

• PhD required at time of appointment.
• Familiarity with pharmaceutical/biotechnology process development.
• Ability to learn new techniques and manage multiple tasks.
• Experience with analytical techniques (SEC, CEX, HIAC, MFI).
• Experience with concentrated protein suspensions and prefilled syringe applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead research on high-concentration biologic drug products via particle engineering and suspension-based formulation.
• Design and execute studies for drug product formulation and fill/finish.
• Document laboratory studies with accuracy (UF/DF, spray drying, stability).
• Build data analytics solutions using JMP, SAS, Tableau/Spotfire and present results.
