Job summary

Akkodis is seeking a Supplier Engineer in Minnesota to collaborate with R&D, Quality, Production and Regulatory teams. You will design and coordinate engineering tests, analyze results, and prepare technical reports while leading cross-functional projects and managing supplier relationships.

The role emphasizes documentation, SOP adherence, and experience in regulated environments with strong data-analysis skills using Excel, JMP, and Minitab.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Materials, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering; medical device manufacturing experience preferred.
• 5–8 years supplier engineering experience with strong documentation and SOP practices.
• Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and manage supplier relationships.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with R&D, Quality, Production, Regulatory, Supply Chain and other teams to develop products and support testing.
• Lead cross-functional projects, manage timelines, and document results.
• Provide technical direction to suppliers and engineering staff.

Collaborate with R&D, Quality, Production, Regulatory, Supply Chain, and other teams to develop and support products, design and coordinate engineering tests, analyze results, and prepare technical reports. Lead cross-functional projects, manage timelines and documentation, and provide technical direction to suppliers and engineering staff.

Requirements: The role seeks 5–8 years of supplier engineering experience and a bachelor's degree in Materials, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, ideally in medical device manufacturing. Candidates should be organized and technically capable, with strong documentation, SOP, technical writing, regulated-environment, project coordination, and supplier management experience; familiarity with Excel, JMP, Minitab, semiconductor, and supply chain topics is also sought.
