Amgen in Cambridge, MA is seeking a Process Development Associate Scientist to develop cell culture and purification manufacturing processes for Amgen’s late-stage pipeline. You will work in a team to execute mammalian cell culture experiments at bench and pilot scales, and perform purification experiments, documenting data and presenting findings.

Scope of work includes developing cell culture and purification processes for recombinant proteins to improve the production yields, evaluating process robustness through process characterization, transferring processes to manufacturing, and conducting other relevant experiments such as facility fit and raw material evaluation.

Master’s degree
OR
Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of Process Development experience
OR
Associate’s degree and 4 years of Process Development experience
OR
High school diploma / GED and 6 years of Process Development experience

The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
