General Motors is seeking a Process Controls Engineer to collaborate with the IT team and prioritize activities for on-floor equipment. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or related field of study and Two (2) years of experience as a Process Controls Engineer, Automation Engineer, or related occupation. Two (2) years of experience with: Manufacturing processes, lean manufacturing, both high automation and manual processes; Robots, Press, and vision equipment, PLC, HMI integration and commissioning; Safety Validation of controls systems; Plant floor systems including Production Monitoring and Control, Andon Systems, Upload/Download and Compare, Throughput and Material Call; Error proofing SCADA systems; and Common Controls Hardware and Common Controls Software Standards.
