A prominent manufacturing firm in Houston is looking for a Process Control Engineer to manage instrumentation and process controls. Candidates should have an engineering degree and extensive experience in DCS systems, particularly Emerson DeltaV. The role involves ensuring compliance with industry standards, providing technical support, and leading capital projects. This full-time position offers a Monday to Friday schedule within a manufacturing facility.
Qualifications
10 - 15 years of experience preferred.
Experience with NFPA/NEC codes and HAZOP procedures is a plus.
Plant experience is strongly recommended.
Responsibilities
Manage and direct instrumentation and process controls activities company-wide.
Provide technical support for instrumentation and controls.
Develop and maintain Central Data Historian System.
Skills
Instrumentation management
DCS experience with Emerson DeltaV
Project Management skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Windows
Computer troubleshooting
Knowledge of Ethernet Networking
Education
Engineering degree (Chemical or Electrical)
