Job summary

Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America (HMGMA) is seeking a Production Planner to develop and modify production plans, analyze demand, and create weekly schedules to ensure deadlines are met at our EV mass-production plant.

You will monitor progress, inform units of changes, and prepare status reports while collaborating across production units to optimize manufacturing. A manufacturing/industrial engineering background and US work authorization are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
• Advanced degree preferred.
• Experience in the Automotive industry strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs and related production techniques.

• Inform other Units of any changes in production plans and update documents accordingly.

• Regularly communicate with other production Units for the sake of information sharing.
• Meet all other requirements as assigned.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE

• Bachelor’s degree required (Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering major preferred)
• Experience with Microsoft Office products or equivalent applications
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
• Advanced degree in a related field preferred
• Years of experience from Automotive industry strongly preferred
• Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods
