Job summary

LHH is seeking a hands-on Senior Process Chemist / Process Chemist to support large-scale chemical manufacturing in a production environment. The role emphasizes process optimization, live production troubleshooting, manufacturing support, and continuous improvement on the plant floor.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in chemical manufacturing, process chemistry, plant operations, or chemical processing.
• Hands‑on experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Experience troubleshooting active production processes.
• Experience with pumps, valves, reaction vessels, tanks, load cells, and reaction systems.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to react quickly to production challenges.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with operators, maintenance personnel, and leadership teams.

Preferred Industry Experience

• Specialty chemicals.
• Petrochemical processing.
• Lubricants, oils, and additives.
• Chemical intermediates manufacturing.
• Batch chemical manufacturing.

Preferred Technical Experience

• Acid‑base reactions.
• Blending and formulation environments.
