AtkinsRéalis US Nuclear is seeking a Process/Chemical Engineer Energy - Remote to join our Oak Ridge team. You will develop system architectures, P&IDs and process diagrams for nuclear facilities, ensuring safety, compliance and effective collaboration with project teams.

You should have a chemical engineering degree, 2+ years post-baccalaureate experience, and familiarity with NRC/DOE standards. This role offers remote work with the Oak Ridge base and a competitive compensation package.

Responsibilities

• Develop system architecture, P&IDs for nuclear facilities and fuel cycle models.
• Prepare mass, energy and flow balances and pipe sizing calculations.
• Ensure designs comply with NRC/DOE standards and regulations.
• Produce Process Flow Diagrams and P&ID/Engineering Flow Diagrams.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors and suppliers to deliver high-quality designs.
