Northwestern Medicine is seeking a Procedure Tech to support nurses, physicians and other health care professionals in daily department operations. You will help prepare exam/procedure rooms, assist during procedures, and ensure smooth patient flow and proper equipment handling.
The role requires strong communication, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and proficiency with hospital software. This on-site position emphasizes patient-centered care and adherence to policy and safety standards.

The Procedure Tech provides support service to the nurses, physicians and other health care professionals related to daily operations of the department. The position facilitates patient flow to and from the waiting area and exam/procedural areas. Duties include setup work of exam/procedure room before patient arrival, assisting the nurse or physician in timely room turnover between procedures, cleaning and disinfecting equipment, ordering and restocking supplies.
High School Diploma with exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
CPR Certification (BLS)
Communicate effectively, clearly and medical-professionally with Physician, Nurse and Patient.
Strong problem solving and organizational skills
Have knowledge of Infection Control’s role in a hospital setting.
Computer skills
