Job summary

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year of experience scheduling radiographic procedures is preferred.
• Admitting, insurance eligibility and verification experience is preferred.
• 6 months of experience in a medical and/or Customer service position is preferred.

Under the general guidance of the Supervisor and Manager of Diagnostic Imaging, the Procedural Scheduler is tasked with executing a range of clinical receptionist duties. Working with minimal oversight, the Procedural Scheduler plays a crucial role in interacting with patients, physicians, medical office personnel, and medical center staff, always ensuring prompt and courteous service.

Required Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications

• Upon hire: Medical terminology certification
• 6 months of experience in a medical and/or Customer service position.
• Customer service experience in an acute healthcare setting.
• Admitting, insurance eligibility and verification experience.
• 1 year of experience scheduling radiographic procedures.
