Job summary

Wellstar in Georgia is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform a range of diagnostic imaging procedures for patients of all ages under the supervision of a Radiologist or Manager.

The role requires ARRT Radiography certification and BLS, with strong patient communication and service skills to support safe, compassionate care. This position is based in Georgia and part of a large integrated health system.

Qualifications

• Proficient in operating diagnostic imaging equipment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent patient/customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge in Diagnostic Imaging per protocol and ALARA.
• Performs imaging exams across settings; evaluates image quality and verifies patient identification.
• Provides optimal patient care and supports family-centered care.
• Applies patient safety principles and responds to emergencies.
• Adheres to aseptic technique and hand hygiene policies.
• Assists Radiologist with procedures and protocols.
• Other duties as assigned.
