Job summary

Vanderbilt Health's Dermatology MOHS Clinical team seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse to support clinic procedures in a fast paced ambulatory setting. You will set up sterile fields, prepare rooms, and assist providers before, during, and after procedures, while maintaining rigorous documentation and safety standards.

The role requires nursing licensure in Tennessee and a willingness to work Monday through Friday, 8 hour shifts, in person at the clinic.

Qualifications

• LIC-Licensed Practical Nurse - Tennessee
• Relevant Work Experience
• Education: Graduate of an approved discipline specific program
• Experience Level: Less than 1 year

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate and troubleshoot basic procedural equipment in clinic.
• Maintain sterile technique and sterile field for ambulatory procedures.
• Facilitate patient care by assisting the provider before, during and after ambulatory procedures.
• Complete patient procedural documentation accurately and completely.
• Prepare instrumentation and equipment for high level disinfection and sterilization.
• Support clinic procedural operations as needed.
