Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with major in criminal justice or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of probation supervision experience.
• Background check and CCIC certification within 6 months; felony disqualification.
• Six years of probation experience may substitute for degree and experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise defendants on probation, deferred judgment, and deferred prosecution.
• Monitor court-ordered conditions and testify at revocation hearings.
• Develop case plans to promote pro-social behavior and community safety.
• Maintain electronic probation files and provide records to judges and attorneys.
• Coordinate with agencies and participate in court proceedings as needed.
