Bridges Of America is seeking a Probation Intake Specialist to oversee referrals for Bridges International’s Level II Residential Programs. You will coordinate client intake, serve as the primary contact for Judges, Prosecutors, and Public Defenders, and manage admissions into residential programs.

The role involves coordinating referrals, tracking progress in the SecurManage system, and ensuring timely communications with court coordinators across Florida.

Qualifications

  • Two (2) years’ professional administrative and coordination experience required.
  • Two (2) years’ experience in facilitation of co‑occurring services in community entities (Drug Court, DCF, Florida Department of Corrections) desired.
  • Criminal Justice and Co‑Occurring experience desired.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee processing of all referrals to Level II Residential Programs.
  • Monitor, track, and document referrals in SecurManage database timely.
  • Train and educate stakeholders, Bridges International staff, and clients on the referral process.
  • Liaise between the company and stakeholders regarding vacancies and program availability.
  • Monitor referral and waiting list follow‑up per company policies and procedures.
  • Communicate regularly with Court Coordinators across Florida and provide marketing material as needed.
  • Provide weekly projected program intakes to Directors and Florida State Executive Director.
  • Provide monthly report to CFO reflecting court referral and waiting list interactions.
  • Attend mandatory training per Policies.
  • Ensure adherence to all applicable policies and procedures.
  • Be available to attend court hearings and community events to promote the program.

Job Summary

The Probation Intake Specialist is responsible for oversight and follow-up on referrals provided by stakeholders. The Intake Specialist will coordinate the client’s intake into Bridges International's Level II Residential Programs. The Probation Intake Specialist will be the primary point of contact for Judges, Prosecutors, and Public Defenders for referrals, assessments follow up, and the admissions process into the Residential Programs.

Essential Duties
  • Oversee the processing of all referrals submitted to Level II Residential Programs.
  • Monitor, track, and document referrals submitted by stakeholders in the SecurManage database timely.
  • Train and educate stakeholders, Bridges International staff, and clients on the referral process.
  • Operate as a liaison between the company and stakeholders regarding notifications of program vacancies and availability.
  • Monitor the submission of referral and waiting list follow‑up as outlined within the company’s policies and procedures.
  • Communicate regularly with Court Coordinators throughout the State of Florida and provide marketing material as needed.
  • Provide weekly projected program intakes to the Director of Programs and the Florida State Executive Director.
  • Provide a monthly report to the Chief Financial Officer reflecting all court referral and waiting list interactions conducted during the month.
  • Attend all mandatory training as specified by Policies.
  • Ensure that all applicable policies and procedures within the scope of this job description are followed and adhered to.
  • Be available to attend court hearings and community events to promote the program within the community.
  • Perform any other functions assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications
  • Competencies: Ability to work effectively in a team environment, effective planning and priority setting, ability to manage several complex projects simultaneously under pressure, strong analytical skills and thorough knowledge of plan designs, excellent oral and written communication, highly organized, self‑motivated, and proficient in computer programs.
  • Experience: Two (2) years’ professional administrative and coordination experience required. Two (2) years’ experience in the facilitation of co‑occurring services within community entities (including but not limited to Drug Court Systems, Department of Children and Families, and the Florida Department of Corrections) desired. Criminal Justice and Co‑Occurring experience desired. Public Relations experience desired.
  • Education: Minimum of a high school diploma. Degree in Criminal Justice, Behavioral Sciences, or related field desired.
