Job summary

Applied Industrial Technologies in Baton Rouge, LA is seeking a proactive Warehouse/Driver to support our Service Center with world-class service. You will pick up and deliver orders, verify stock, assist with inventory, and help customers both in person and over the phone.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year of warehouse or customer service experience, basic data entry skills, knowledge of industrial products, and a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of proven customer service or warehouse experience in distribution.
• Basic computer skills and accurate data entry.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record (MVR).
• Ability to stand, walk, lift 50 lbs+, and work on-site.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Authorized to work in the US; sponsorship not offered.
• Knowledge of industrial distribution products preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive, verify, and stock materials; pick up and deliver orders.
• Maintain stock areas and inventory; assist in counter and telephone sales.
• Follow daily schedules and safety procedures; operate company vehicle.
• Provide first-class service to customers at the Service Center and on deliveries.
• Aim to meet or exceed monthly sales goals while increasing customer satisfaction.
