Job summary

OSI INDUSTRIES, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to proactively maintain machinery and mechanical equipment through preventive and predictive maintenance. The role involves installing and servicing equipment, performing preventive tasks, and keeping a clean, safe work environment.

Candidates should read mechanical drawings, use basic welding and electrical knowledge, and adapt to a variety of equipment including pumps, boilers, and air compressors.

Qualifications

• Maintenance experience preferred, willing to train.
• Mechanically inclined with basic mechanical and electrical knowledge.
• Proficient reading of mechanical drawings and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Assist to install and service equipment using self-supplied and company-supplied hand tools.
• Perform assigned preventive maintenance tasks.
• Move and raise components using hoists, dollies, or other provided equipment.
• Update daily work communications.
• Maintain tools, powered vehicles, and equipment; keep parts and supplies in order.
• Maintain a clean and hazard-free work area throughout the day.
• Use and maintain safety equipment on job sites.
• Execute job order assignments and keep accurate job order records.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
